These Terms govern your use of the GenderShift application, the gendershift.app website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
GenderShift transforms your voice in real time toward the gender expression you choose. The Service is currently offered as an Early Access product. That means features may change, availability may be interrupted, and you may occasionally encounter bugs. We ship improvements continuously and we are honest about the product's current state on our website and store pages.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make purchases. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. For most countries, your purchase is completed through Stripe's Managed Payments service and sold through Link, with Stripe acting as merchant of record. For purchases from mainland China, Turing Speech LLC is the seller of record and payment is processed by Stripe. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
Stripe collects your payment details and sends your receipt under its own terms and privacy policy. Our servers receive a purchase confirmation used to credit your purchase; your name, email, and card details stay with Stripe.
Prices are shown before checkout, in your local currency where supported. Applicable sales tax or consumption tax, where due, is calculated and collected at checkout. Purchases made through Steam are governed additionally by the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and refunds for Steam purchases are handled through Steam.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Voice transformation is a tool for your own expression. You are responsible for how you use your transformed voice and for complying with the rules of any platform where you use it.
You retain all rights in your voice and in audio you create with the Service. You grant us the limited license needed to process your audio in order to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The Service, including its software, models, branding, and website, is owned by Turing Speech LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and AI providers to process audio and operate accounts and payments. Their handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party platforms (such as Steam or streaming services) that you use alongside GenderShift.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that transformed audio will meet your expectations in every environment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turing Speech LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 7, 9, 10, and 12) survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence applies. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at developer@gendershift.app and attempt to resolve the issue informally for 30 days.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will give notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
